Comparison

Volunteering at Stone Fire Art Gallery was like remodeling a house. The art director assigned me the task of cleaning out one of the back rooms. Cleaning out and organizing the room reminded me of moving everything out of a room before remodeling the room. Cleaning out the back room consisted of taking everything out and throwing away useless things that were no longer needed and putting everything back in an organized fashion. Another way volunteering at Stone Fire reminded me of remodeling a house was all of the painting. I was assigned the task of painting the northern outside wall of the gallery with black paint.
This reminded of remodeling a house because a big part of remodeling consists of painting and I painted a lot during my time volunteering at Stone Fire. When I finished my volunteering at Stone Fire I felt accomplished the same as I would after remodeling a house.
