I volunteered at Stone Fire Art Gallery in Titusville Florida for my Communications class at Brevard Community College. While I volunteered at the gallery the owner asked me to move numerous boxes of old stained glass into a storage room located at the rear of her shop. The stained glass contained many beautiful shapes and colors.
Although the stained glass was beautiful, the glass had many sharp edges. Moving the boxes of glass required extreme caution. The boxes were falling apart and many of the pieces of glass had been broken. While transporting the boxes of glass the gentleman helping me suffered a laceration to his finger due to the razor sharp glass. After the laceration we decided that using a hand cart would be the best way to relocate the glass. Pleased with our work, the owner showed us great appreciation for relocating the stained glass to open up more work space and organize her art gallery.
